Grab your yarn and get cozy — a new amigurumi adventure awaits…
Get ready to bring a burst of joy to your crochet collection with this Amigurumi Plush Minion Free Crochet Pattern designed by Cute Stuff Crochet! This fun, step-by-step, beginner-friendly project guides you through creating your very own soft Minion buddy using chenille size 6 yarn in yellow, paired with blue, black, grey, and white accents. The adorable plush features a large 14 mm safety eye, adding that signature Minion charm we all love. Although chenille yarn gives the toy a wonderfully plush feel, you can also use cotton yarn if you prefer — just note that thinner yarn will make your little Minion come out smaller.

Before you begin, gather your 4.5 mm hook, stitch marker, polyfil stuffing, scissors, and a bit of black felt for the finishing touches. Take your time and enjoy the creative process — as the designer reminds us, patience always pays off in amigurumi! Whether you’re crafting your very first crochet toy or expanding your handmade collection, this pattern is sure to make you smile from the first stitch to the last. A big thank-you to Cute Stuff Crochet for this adorable free pattern, and be sure to check the end of the post for more inspiring amigurumi Minion ideas to try next!
